  3.   6. Sacked woman wins £20,000 payout after boss shouted she ‘must be in her menopause’ – Leigh Best was working at upmarket pet food business Embark on Raw when owner David Fletcher made the comment “at the top of his voice” to the then-52-year-old, an employment tribunal heard (Independent)
  7. School worker who claimed she was sacked for her Christian beliefs after criticising plans to teach primary pupils about LGBT relationships appeals employment tribunal ruling – Kristie Higgs, 45, a pastoral assistant at Farmor’s School in Fairford, Gloucestershire, was dismissed for gross misconduct in 2019 after sharing Facebook posts criticising plans to teach LGBTQ+ relationships at her son’s primary school (DailyMail)

  9. Woman sacked on the spot told ‘it’s your boyfriend or your job’ – She was dismissed from the stables owned by Lakeland Pony Treks when she refused to work at short notice because she had plans (The Mail)
  10. Female production line worker at car manufacturing firm Allied Vehicles wins sex discrimination claim after a male colleague suggested she was having a sexual relationship with a married man – Angela Smith, 48, quit her job after Stuart Getty made a ‘demeaning’ comment accusing her of showing favouritism to a co-worker because he claimed they were having a romantic relationship (DailyMail)
