  7. Catholic civilian worker who took discrimination case against MoD set to receive over £500,000 – Bronagh Murray, 51, took a religious and sexual discrimination case against the Ministry of Defence after retiring due to ill health in 2019 (BelfastLive)
  8. Wetherspoon’s chef who claimed he was bullied by colleagues who called him ‘gay boy’ and waved a gherkin and penis-shaped straw in his face loses victimisation claim – Jamie Connolly said he was bullied by bosses at the Dairyman pub in Brentwood, Essex as well as being mocked for his sexuality (DailyMail)
  9. Woman awarded compensation after ‘all Chinese run chip shops’ comment – An employment tribunal heard Sherlando Sutherland mentioned her grandmother was Chinese and paralegal David Bridge then shocked her by asking: “Does she own a chip shop, all Chinese own chip shops?” (EssexLive)
  10. Black employee asked about her ‘inner chimp’ loses discrimination case – Lindani Sibanda said she was unaware of The Chimp Paradox and felt ‘offended’ when her manager used a term from the book (Telegraph)
